In the wake of being discharged from jail over a year back, Tru Life has at long last discovered another record name to call home. The New York rapper affirmed to XXL that he has marked with Future's Freebandz name.
The 41-year-old rapper commended the marking with a post on Instagram, sharing a photograph himself and Future and expressing, "@future nothing greater than the flying creature. #freebandz #mogultree." In a different post, Tru Life expressed, "Today is a fresh start , I am glad to declare my new manage Sony Epic and Free Bandz. At the point when every other person walked out on me. My sibling @future was the special case who ventured up."
Tru Life has examined his association with Future before. Amid a 2016 meeting with The Breakfast Club, the rapper uncovered his association with Future backpedals to when he was known as Meathead. "I backpedal with him from Meathead, I don't know Future… We grew up together, man, in the Dungeon [Family]. Me and his cousin, Rico Wade, was genuine tight."
Initially marked to JAY-Z's Roc-La-Familia Records, Tru Life's vocation stopped in 2011, when he was accused of murder and weapons ownership after a 2009 occurrence that left 20-year-old Christopher Guerrero dead. The rapper, who dropped the track "Blast Bang" not long ago, wound up conceding to posse ambush and was condemned to eight years in jail. He wound up serving over six years of his sentence and was discharged in April of 2016.
In a meeting with XXL a year ago, the rapper uncovered he was dealing with another collection.
"I'm taking a shot at a collection. I know individuals need such a great amount from me," he said. "They expect such a great amount from me. They're similar to, 'At the present time, at the present time.' But, they don't comprehend it's not all that simple to get back home from doing eight years and bounce into the studio and everything be about music, music, music. Particularly when you got kids and an existence and your life has been so torn separated by being away for a long time and you're returning home and grabbing every one of those pieces, you know? It's recently not that simple of a progress."
