T.I. Claims He Started Trap Music



T.I. told Angie Martinez he changed rap music.

From his relationship inconveniences to his faulty Tupac Rock and Roll Hall of Fame outfit, Atlanta rap symbol and social lobbyist T.I. has been everywhere throughout the news of late. In a radio meeting with Angie Martinez, Tip stoked the fire asserting to be the originator of trap music.

"Many individuals they don't generally [...] realize that I made trap music," he said uncovering that he will drop two collections this year, one solo and one with Hustle Gang. "There was no such thing as trap preceding... no such thing, it didn't exist."

He said he began the class when he put out his second collection Trap Muzik in 2003. Before Outkast, crunk music and Organized Noized ruled Atlanta hip jump, he said. He named the new class with the previously mentioned Trap Muzik.

"Since the main collection I did [...] individuals who heard it they didn't know where I was from. 'Is it accurate to say that he is from Atlanta? He raps too great. Is it true that he is from New York? Where is he from.' So, Trap Muzik resembled building up a sound, similar to this is the kind of person I am," Tip said.
