Akon Reportedly Sued $150 Million By Former Business Partner
As indicated by report from TMZ, Akon is getting sued by a previous business accomplice for an astounding $150 million for income he supposedly withheld from him in the course of recent years.
Devyne Stephens, a music official who propelled Akon's profession and Konvict Music name, claims he should get 40% of everything Akon's earned since 2006. He says their agreement gives him a cut of record deals, visiting rights, sovereignties and the sky is the limit from there, yet evidently hasn't seen a dime of it yet.
As TMZ brings up, Akon has earned over $400 million since 2006 if what Stephens says is valid and in light of the math. However who realizes what he'll wind up getting, and in view of the span of the claim it presumably won't be worked out for some time either.
We'll keep on keeping you posted if any further updates emerge.
